The athlete workforce readiness program is designed to identify the athlete’s existing skills while offering the tools needed to secure a job in today’s digital age. What makes us unique is that instead of pushing the students towards an overwhelming, undefined, confusing job market, Xtra Point Group evaluates the current national workforce and turns to decades of experience in the staffing industry.
We use that workplace information combined with our specially designed skills assessment which helps determine the valuable and in-demand skills athletes have already acquired through sports, and assist the athletes in pulling them through the job securement process. Keeping in mind current job recruitment processes, employment needs and opportunities best suited to athletes, we assist in creating resumes, digital profiles, applications and individual stories to offer the best possibilities of success in finding the right job.
Recruiting Discipline Program
Xtra Point Group takes readying the athlete one step further and offers specific training to fit with specific high demand career disciplines that offer immediate job placement and the beginning of long-term careers. We utilize our knowledge of specific, high-demand industries in which athletes often excel to introduce excellent career development opportunities with high levels of pay and advancement. Xtra Point Group offers this program for both graduating and alumni athletes.
